This does a couple of things:
1. It refreshes the leads memory that they were at my site and most will click the url link and return.
2. It starts constructing the associate or rapport between the lead and myself.

Whenever I receive an event notice, that a person on my friends list is having a birthday. I will tape a quick 20-30 second video, wishing them happy birthday.
This helps you standout from all the others, who are sending text messages.
