There are two techniques I know of how you may identify a Limiting Belief:
1) Make a statement regarding something you want to possess or be, e.g. "I am wealthy". Then listen closely to the "self-talk" in your mind. What "does your mind say" right following that statement?
Does it say: "You will never have sufficient money!" or "Making money is not easy!" or "You are just not good enough"?
Ok, you have now noticed some of your Limiting Beliefs!!
2) Make a statement about anything you wish to have or be. Then notice some uncomfortable feeling in your body arise. For most people this will be somewhere in your chest or stomach, but it could be somewhere in your body.
This uncomfortable emotion coming up means that there is a difference between your statement and what you truly believe about yourself. Currently you may notice Limiting Beliefs arise in your mind as in 1), but this is not really necessary.
You now realize that there is a Limiting Belief about your statement (your wish).
As soon as you know that there are limiting beliefs concerning a matter (a subject similar to money, success, relationships), you will possibly wish to get rid of them.
